This is what your working day could look like
7:00 a.m.: Producing boxes for packaging
This morning, there is another packaging job for a customer that was announced at short notice yesterday. Now the packaging team urgently needs the boxes for this job. The cutting department already cut the material yesterday, so you can start nailing the box bases and bodies together as soon as you have read the production order.
9:00 a.m.: Done! Your colleagues can get going.
The boxes are ready on time. While the packers are on their way, you grab the next order. Now it’s a series of boxes. Ah, you already know these; you’ve done them a few times before. The 20 boxes have to be ready by lunchtime. Since they’re not too big, you can make them on your own.
12:30 p.m.: Let’s continue
A colleague needs your help packing the three machines we have here. You have to lay out the aluminium composite film and help position the machines. Now the machine is secured so it can’t slip and carefully welded. Now it’s time to nail it together. You assemble the body together; the crates are large, so teamwork is important.
4:00 p.m.: Done!
Time to call it a day. Tomorrow we’ll continue!
